Welcome to the inaugural issue of Arxis Financial's "Litigation Consulting Update" e-newsletter! Arxis Financial has initiated this communication in order to disperse regular information on litigation matters, specifically those involving forensic accounting, fraud and business valuation.

Arxis Financial, Inc. is a leading accounting and financial consulting firm located in Simi Valley, CA. A significant part of our practice is in the areas of Forensic Accounting, Business Valuation, and Litigation Consulting. We work with leading Southern California attorneys in a most types of legal disputes.

In this initial issue, we would like to introduce you to the capabilities of our Forensic Accounting practice. Our professionals assist in quantifying the financial and economic issues in matters, ranging from business interruption to probate to insurance claims, and more. Our services include fraud examinations, reconstruction of accounting records, analysis of business transactions, document review and tracing, and expert witness testimony.

We apply detailed investigation and analysis to uncover essential facts and provide meaningful insights. Expert analysis and conclusions are presented in depositions and trial at local, state and federal courts as well as mediation and arbitration. We assist attorneys in interpreting the data and help counsel to understand and analyze financial events or issues.

The Forensic Accounting practice is headed by partner Chris L. Hamilton, CPA, CFE, CVA, DABFA, a nationally-recognized expert in the field. Mr. Hamilton is a Certified Public Accountant, Certified Fraud Examiner, Certified Valuation Analyst, and a Diplomate with the American Board of Forensic Accounting. He is a licensed life and disability insurance agent and a General Securities Representative. Mr. Hamilton has published articles in several publications, and has made presentations at national conferences, training institutes and seminars on topics including fraud, business appraisal, and forensic accounting.
